Think Yourself Thin Review

think yourself thin Think Yourself Thin is a program developed by Debbie Johnson, years before anyone was even talking about emotional eating.

While the program only deals in part with emotional eating, it does deal with the roots of emotions - your thoughts.

Debbie is a coach and author of Think Yourself Thin. She's been featured in Woman's World magazine, Cosmopolitan, Redbook and First for Women Magazine.

More importantly, she used these techniques herself to lose 40 lbs and keep it off for 25 years.

Here’s a quote from the book:

“I ate what I wanted, even ice cream at midnight, and listened to my body for the most part. I love butter, I ate lots of avocado, and other high fat foods… I was tuning in and found out from a doctor later that I was doing what was right for me.”

In fact, when Debbie started using her techniques she lost too much weight and had to do a reversal to stop the weight loss.

The book is now out of print however you can get a copy from Debbie's website.

About The Program:

Think Yourself Thin is not a diet. In fact if you are attracted to the thought of listening to your body and eating what it wants while losing weight, you will love this book. No food is off limit.

Diets usually fail in the long term because while they change the food, they don't change your self-concept. And over the long run, we will always act in line with our self concept or self image.

If we see ourselves as someone who is constantly trying to lose weight, only to put it back on again, that is what we will live up to - subconsciously or consciously.

If we see ourselves as someone who can't say no to cookie - we will act in that way and maybe even eat the whole box.

Think Yourself Thin deals with changing your self-image. Then you naturally act in agreement with that new thin self-image.

A lot of users have found that losing weight becomes easy once they start applying these techniques:

"...your book, HOW TO THINK YOURSELF THIN, was the catalyst to take concrete steps to getting my self-esteem and girlie figure back. The love and compassion you have for your fellow woman comes comfortingly across in your book.

I am a strong case example (her emphasis) that you grow into your self-image. I am so excited that I have a body that I finally appreciate. I have lost 15 pounds already, my body is shrinking and I feel so good!!!" Sally Sima Nishti San Clemente, CA

"After I lost all the weight, thinking thin, everybody said not only did I look thinner but that I also looked younger." C. Smithy Minneapolis, MN Paralegal

Conclusion:

While the e-book does tend towards the new-agey side, it is not over the top. And it is not based on hypnosis.

Think Yourself Thin is really about reprogramming yourself with the thoughts that naturally thin people think - thoughts that help them stay naturally thin without dieting.

And it does work. You'll find yourself eating less and enjoying life more after applying the principles in this book.
